so you know that scene after simon has been outed and he’s in his room and just breaks down, throwing pillows and sobbing? that’s the most honest and real scene i’ve seen in my entire life about being outed. i absolutely lost my shit watching it because i knew that exact feeling- after the shock the absolute mix of anger and humiliation, and shame. it was one of the most painful and important things about the movie, and honestly, no straightcis person who watches that is ever going to understand that exact feeling and feel that same pain.
Hey. Sapphicatthedisco. I understand what it feels like. I understand and feel the pain. And I’m straight. So.. No generalizing, ok?
Don’t Hey. Sapphicatthedisco me lol no you don’t
LGBT+ people: wow being outed before ready is horrible and incredibly dangerous and humiliating, and literally only LGBT+ people can possibly understand it because cishet people can’t actually be outed
Str8 people: actually as a Straight Person I take offense that you left me out of this we have feelings too once my friend told someone that I’m straight and they didn’t react at all can you believe it, the injustice
LGBT+ people: Tina, you absolute fuck
@kageraccoon fuck off, you will literally NEVER know what that’s like. be thankful for it.
